Dreams

The worst time to dream that you are home alone and someone is breaking in is when you are actually home alone. I will be so glad when Andrew gets home tonight. I need a good night sleep.

The Bachelor

Andrew is out of town most of the week, so I am by myself watching The Bachelor and doing some online shopping. The laundry is staring at me...

Anyway, I have no one to make comments to while watching right now (not even Molly - she played today and is passed out all over the ottoman), so I just have to say that I cannot to see what happens at this rose ceremony!

**UPDATE** - Even more importantly...I am almost positive I just felt my little one move. Baby Coleman must have liked the dress I was looking at...maybe I can find something else baby likes.

***UPDATE*** - Above terms have been edited for Mary Leigh. =)

Car Window and Oh No!

So, the car window has done it again....it will only go up on AUTO when I go to Starbucks. Otherwise I have to manually hold the button. I know, so rough having to hold the button to close the window. I have decided not to worry about getting anything fixed until it actually won't go up or down. I have replaced a window motor before and it is kind of pricey. BUT, I am intrigued as to why only Starbucks!? My next tests will consist of ordering different drinks. Maybe it has a favorite?

Also, I read a pregnancy message board to see what products they are looking at and such. Well, in the past 3 weeks, there have been 4 different post about being told the wrong sex. And this is one of my biggest fears of knowing the sex before its born. I think even if I knew, I would be skeptical and be pretty gender neutral. Clothing could easily be returned, but who wants to redecorate? I know I would end up being one of the few that this happened to. Lucky for these ladies, they had an extra ultrasound for one reason or another and found out pretty early. But what happens when you only get that one? In future pregnancies I might take that risk, but I don't do well when my plans have suddenly done a 180. I do better with a surprise.

Oh the subject of gender neutral - I bought my crib bedding! I am in a rut at to what I want to do with the walls right now, but it will involve yellow/cream. And if Cassie is reading this, she should know that if I haven't figured anything out by the time she is done with her nursery walls (or before Madelyn comes!), I am coming to her for help. Here is my bedding!

Look at me grow!

So, I take a picture every four weeks, and here I am up to 16:
That grey shirt isn't going to be worn again. Please rest assured that I haven't actually worn that shirt in a few weeks, but I didn't want to take that photo in my PJs. That shirt definitely makes me look rounder in the middle than I feel. Well, the pancakes I just ate for dinner before probably didn't help. =)
Baby is the now the size of an avocado!

You know you go to Starbucks too often when...

your drivers side window will only roll down and back up smoothly to accept a hot latte in the mornings. I expected this kind of behavior from the Cavalier, but not my Honda...my first nice car. =( Maybe it is just the cold weather...it is being stubborn. I am hoping is corrects itself??

I also read in my pregnancy book last night some old wives tales. The one that stuck with me said, "Wearing high heels during pregnancy will cause the baby to be cross eyed." I am in tennis shoes today, just in case.

Oh, to be able to button my pants again

I finally did! But not my favorite part of American Eagle jeans. I finally found a pair of maternity jeans that I like...and the best part, they don't look like maternity jeans...no big panel to pull over my belly. God bless the GAP. Now I am just praying they hold up to the weekly multiple washings as this is the only pair of jeans I have right now that I am comfortable in.

My doctor appointment yesterday was short and sweet. Everything looks good so far! I have made my appointment to get my "big ultrasound" and I am looking forward to actually getting to see something!

Not much going on here

My brother-in-law and his wife are in town for another week or so, so we have been spending some time with them. We haven't really done much but hang out, and I am enjoying it. We hit Five Guys burgers yesterday and they are so good. I went with the "little burger" (which looks like a normal burger to me) and got some fries and will definitely be going back soon!

We also got new ceiling fans for the front bedrooms! I am really excited about this (far more than Andrew). Something as simple as changing the plain lights to nice ceiling fan lights makes my house feel less "cookie cutter." Andrew doesn't really get that, but in a neighborhood like ours, I enjoy knowing I have different lighting than my neighbors. I guess I am pretty easy to please.

I have another doctor appointment coming up on Wednesday and I am just praying everything goes well! I don't expect too much, but I am looking forward to hearing the heartbeat again!

Hope you are having a good new year!
