24 Weeks!

Today marks 24 weeks, and I finally have a real bump!Molly felt left out, and decided to join in for the monthly belly photo.

One of the hardest things about pregnancy for me so far is accepting that this is a time you are supposed to get big. It is such a foreign thought for me, that regardless of what I eat, fried or fresh, my body is going to expand. And not just the belly. I swear my face and arms are getting rounder also. And that surprisingly bothers me more than my boobs getting bigger. (If you know me, at all, you know two thing I would change about me cosmetically are my boobs and my teeth.)
I would like to learn how to run after baby Coleman is born. I know it sounds stupid, but I don't know how to. I have always done the elliptical, but if I could learn how to run outside, I might invest in a jogging stroller one day. I will google "learn how to run."

I am also noticing I need a list to accomplish common, everyday tasks. For instance, this morning I forgot to bring a leash for Molly when I brought her to Pet Safari, and I forgot to take my medications and vitamins. Two things that I do everyday, and yet, they slip my mind so easily.
I've been working hard on the nursery. The crib and changing table/dresser are all put together and I have put some hanging organizers in the closet to have more shelve like storage. I hope warm weather is here to stay, because I want to paint my chair rail outdoors before we install it. I also ordered my chair for the nursery, and will share a picture when it comes in and it is set up. I have to give credit to Cassie for finding it, because I didn't even notice in the store until she pointed it out, and then I fell in love with it. I am so excited to get it!!
Other than getting bigger, I have just been trying some new recipes from kraftfoods.com and figuring out how to clean my washer and dryer. Tide makes a powder solution you use once a month on an empty cycle and it smells so good. It is on my list of favorite smells now, including my perfume, my Tide laundry detergent, and Febreeze. Cleaning the dryer didn't really have a pleasant or bad odor. It was just a pain the butt, but desperately needed it.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Don't worry, I don't pinch those not wearing green. It's cruel. But I am wearing green in case I run into some meanies today.

  1. You crack me up!! I will teach you how to run!! :) I LOVE my jogger and couldn't wait till Nate turned 6 months to use it (yes they recommend you wait till baby is at least 6 months)! In fact, I think we're going to go for a run today after his nap. I love this weather!!
