Smashed Red Potatoes

2 pounds red potatoes (cut into equal-size chunks)
water (enough to cover)
2 Tbls roasted garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup milk
1 Tbls butter

Combine potatoes, water, garlic, salt, and pepper. Bring to boiling. Boil 10-15 minutes or until tender. Drain. Allow 5 minutes stand time, in warm pan, for fluffier potatoes. Blend in milk and butter using electric mixer or potato masher.
